I’ve been working on a dress for the renn faire this year. Since I don’t have one. I decided to go with The Tudor Tailor patterns. So far I’ve completed the chemise and kirtle, only the dress with loose sleeves to go! it will be made out of silk, soooo, I’ve been avoiding it. Not to mention I need someone to help me fit my toile. But anywho…. here are the pics of the stuffs.

The chemise, made out of linen. I made it too big, so there are 'extra' seams in the front and back.

hemp cording, in place of actual boning. I'm tempted to use this in place of all boning...

The hemp panel in the front of the kirtle

The kirlte!! All done, this made out of blue wool, with a muslin lining. The hemp panel is made with canvas. This is actually quite heavy with the hemp and being wool!!

I hand sewed all the eyelets. This fits much better on me.... my dress form is too big.
Apron I made for a contest, that i unfortunately could not enter :( After several unsuccessful attempts to upload to the site, I gave up. But I think I shall share it anyway, since it came out so nice!
